Everstead Living is a structured independent living residence designed to provide stable, respectful housing for adults seeking a safe and supportive place to live. Our program serves seniors, veterans, re-entry, and individuals transitioning from homelessness who are able to live independently and value a quiet, community-based environment.
We offer shared housing with semi-private room options in a clean, well-maintained home. The program is non-medical and does not provide personal care, treatment services, or clinical supervision. Residents are expected to manage their own daily activities while following established house guidelines that promote safety, accountability, and mutual respect.
Individuals must have proof of income (SSI, SSDI, SS, VA Benefits, or private-pay) and can manage their personal care independently.
Yes, participants at Everstead Living can utilize home health or a hopsice agency to assist in their ADLs. If participants have insurance, then staff will assist participants with finding a Home Healthcare Agency to assist them with their ADLs.
No. At Everstead Living, participants do not pay a community fee or deposit. Participants only pay their monthly rent.

The monthly rent starts at $750, depending on the type of room that the participant is requesting.
Everstead Living will provide transportation on a case-by-case basis. However, most of our participants can utilize transportation to their doctors' appointments that is provided by their Medical insurance. Our homes are also located near a bus stop which allows our partipcants to utilize public transportation.
